About Chris

Chris's Story

My journey into dog training began with a spark of inspiration and a Belgian Malinois. My brother brought home a Belgian Malinois, and I immediately saw the breed’s incredible potential—their intelligence and drive, and their eagerness to work. While I was finishing my degree at the College of Biblical Studies, my church hosted a special guest speaker named Hank Hough, founder of Kingdom Dogs. His ministry used hunting dogs to demonstrate the power of obedience as a living illustration of the Gospel. I was completely inspired. It connected everything I loved: faith, purpose, and dogs.

I didn’t know exactly how it would happen, but I felt called to start a ministry of my own one day—something rooted in obedience, discipline, and the unique bond between dogs and their handlers.

Soon after, I got my own Belgian Malinois and named him Preacher. My brother, who had already begun training his dog, taught me the ropes. From there, my passion turned into a calling. That’s how my journey as a dog trainer truly began—not just to teach obedience, but to help others discover the deeper lessons dogs can show us about loyalty, trust, and leadership.

Today, I train with purpose and a mission: to build stronger bonds between people and their dogs while keeping faith at the heart of it all.
